    Carpet Cleaning

      Rotary Shampooing & High Pressure Extraction.

      Giving an exceptional deep clean with long lasting results and by far our preferred method, a small amount of fluids are fed to the Rotary brush which gently rotates on the carpet, loosening the dirt, re lifting the pile and removing any trapped dirt, hair or fluff.

      The Extraction Machine is then used to rinse the carpet, and with High Pressure Vaccum, removes all the loosened dirt and moisture, leaving all carpets feeling re-energized, Clean and Fresh. Ideal for heavily soiled carpets and rugs.

      This method is worked a square metre area at a time, Furniture is removed and replaced as we work through a room, all wooden or metal feet are protected to prevent marking.

      Most carpets are touch dry within 3 – 5 hours and can be walked on immediately, although we do recommend leaving to air completely.

      Extraction, (also known as Steam Cleaning)

      This method is the process used by most companies. This involves spraying the fluids onto the carpet, circulating through the pile and lifting with High Pressure Extraction. Ideal for lightly soiled or delicate carpets and rugs.

      Upholstery Cleaning

        Rotary Shampooing & High Pressure Extraction.

        A very similar process to the Rotary & Extraction Carpet Cleaning method.

        Using an electric hand held Rotary machine, fluids are fed to the centre of the brush which then rotates on the upholstery, gently agitating soiled areas without over wetting.

        The Extraction Machine rinses and with high pressure vaccum, removes all the loosened dirt and moisture.

        An average Three Piece Suite takes 2 ½ - 3 hours working time and most fabrics are dry within 3 – 5 hours. We do recommend 24 hours to air completely before use.

        All Upholstery is pre-tested before Cleaning.

            Frequently Asked Questions

            Q.  Will my carpet or upholstery get dirty quicker once cleaned?

            A. At Paul's Cleaning we only use high quality, alcohol or dry powder based fluids, which do not cause any premature re-soiling. We also rinse with a HP neutral solution to leave carpets soft and “Springy”.
            The only time carpets will re soil quickly is with cheap chemicals that can leave a sticky residue.

            Q.  How soon can I walk on my carpet?

            A. Carpets can be walked on immediately, but they are better off left until touch-dry, 3 – 5 hours. This allows the carpet pile to retain its “spring” and prevents dirt being transferred from footwear.

            Q.  Do I need to remove all my furniture from the carpets?

            A. It is not necessary to completely clear the room. We appreciate the small items removing, such as, occasional tables, magazine stands, Lamps etc. We will move large Furniture as we work, replacing where possible.

            Q.  How much will it cost me?

            A. We price work by the hour, not by the square metre. Prices depend on a number of factors including, how dirty the carpet or upholstery is, how much furniture needs moving
